"Crazy" Farmer John
Well, I talked to John tonight, my great friend that I grew quite close to last summer and whom I adore (even though he's crazy, LOL) and who's actually from near my hometown in Illinois although we met on a farm in Oregon, and he told me that his buddy Jimmy already said I could stay with him in Ashland, Oregon as long as I wanted.
Jimmy, John and I often played shuffleboard at the "Tolo Tavern" in Central Point with "the regulars" after a good afternoon of them kayaking while I hiked around, and those two have been buddies since they were college roommates. They're awesome, and no drama. I was quite flattered and surprised, and am excited because they're a lot of fun to be around and while I've lived in Eugene, Oregon and Central Point/Medford, Oregon, I've only visited Ashland . . . . and it's a very cool place with one of the best food co-ops in the country - and Jimmy lives only 1 minute away from it. I'm pretty stoked to try out a new place, even just for a short bit. It's a college town, too (like Eugene).
It's amazing how the Universe responds, I was shocked to hear the phone ring and to hear John at the other end, and to hear of the housing offer. For all who don't know, Oregon is a gorgeous state, and the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon is exceptionally beautiful, not far from Shasta, California. Now I can start applying for jobs online in the Ashland area. . . . .
Below are some shots of Ashland......where I believe there is a boxing gym. Either way, I can maintain my training.

Erica, I am so happy to read about Ashland. Since reading your last post I have worried about you and trying to figure how I can help. Hang in there good things DO come to GOOD people. Always remember were here to learn and its during the toughest times the greatest lessons are learned. I admire your strength and determination. Your friend Ruth.........
