I took pictures during afternoon training Monday because I feel under the weather from the air-conditioning I sat in, and so I'm just pounding garlic and young coconuts and am planning on being up and at'em asap. Not gonna let it get me down, and I'm not going to force myself to do anything because that is when I get injured, always. So I thought I'd take some pictures, we have lots of new students.
Ot taught the beginner's class today
5 rounds on the bags. . . .
Grappling.........
Mia training with Fahd
This is Justin from Australia. He's 18 or so and is experienced in Wing Chen,
Chris from England, kneeing the bags. He's been traveling for many months all over Asia
and is really into scuba diving. He has lots of great stories to tell about it!
Ryan, or "Big Red" (as we call him) from San Diego! Ryan's great!
Jocinda works at the Atsumi Healing Center, where a lot of our students go to
detox for a week or so before coming here. She's very familiar with raw foods,
from the United States, and is one of the only other people I know who has a vegan tattoo. I'm not the only vegan here, woo hoo! I love this shot of her, so cute!
Leanord from San Diego taking a picture of me taking a picture of him, LOL! He leaves soon. Leanord has trained before at home, but this was his first time in Thailand. The trainers picked up right away that he was no beginner, put him in the ring with Yib to see what he could do, and scheduled his first fight immediately. Super nice guy, too - I'm really happy for him!

From left to right, Mona from Japan, Eimir from Ireland,
and Angela & Mia from Canada. All four just completed the
Beginner's Clas and are now in Group Training.
he'll kill me if I don't add that and I don't blame him!)
Fin was playing the role of Bang today, as Bang didn't make it today. That meant he went around blowing the whistle every few minutes right in people's ears, LOL! Nah, he coordinated the whole afternoon, telling everyone where to go and what to do, etc.
Joy being a GOOF!
Mona, my roommate from Japan, training!
